MESSAGE .................NHW RU Attempted buglary in Nelson Way and burglary at Rodney Close, Rugby INC 43 of 17 September
We would like to make you aware of the following incidents that have occurred in your area over recent days.
During the night of 16 into 17 September offenders forced open a ground floor window at a home in Rodnesy Close, entered the premises and stole a purse and car keys to a grey 52 plate Renault Clio which was then taken from outside.
At 2.25am on 17 September the resident of a home in Nelson Way heard an noise and found a rear window of the house open where an offender had climbed in. The back door was also open but nothing had been disturbed and nothing was stolen as it is believed that the offender was disturbed.
If you noticed anything suspicious in either of these areas around the times given or have information that you believe may be connected to them please contact Rugby police quoting incident number 43 of 17 September. Please also remain vigilent, be on the lookout for suspicious activity and please report anything of concern to police. Thankyou.
