MESSAGE .................SW RU Attempted robbery at Stores in Wolvey INC 385 of 26 November
We would like to make you aware that at approximately 5.15pm yesterday evening 4 offenders in a small black car with a partial registration of S6 arrived at Wolvey Stores in The Square, Wolvey.
Three offenders entered the shop, all wearing balaclavas, all armed with kitchen knives and demanded money from the safe.
Staff activated the alarm and the offenders ran to their vehicle, parked at the rear of the store, and made off.
Please remain vigilent, on the lookout for suspicious vehicles or activity on or around your premises and please contact Rugby police if you notice anything unusual or of concern. Thankyou.
