MESSAGE .................NHW RU Burglary at home in St Margarets Avenue, Wolston INC 401 of 28 January
Rugby police are keen to hear from anyone who may have noticed anything suspicious in the St Margarets Avenue area of Wolston between 8am and 3.30pm yesterday, 28 January.
During these times an offender kicked down the rear garden gate, breaking the lock and then entered the garden.
The glass was then smashed in the rear french doors and the offender then reached in and used the key which was in the door to unlock to door and enter the house.
Once inside the offender made an untidy search of the premises before making off with a Wii games console, 2 Wii games, 2 passports, a purse, a wallet and a holdall.
If you noticed anything in the area of St Margarets Avenue that you believe may be connected to this incident please contact Rugby police quoting incident number 401 of 28 January.
Please also ensure that keys to doors are removed after locking the door, that you remain alert and on the lookout for suspicious or unusual activity around your own or neighbouring homes and, that you report anything of concern to police. Thankyou.
