MESSAGE .................NHW RU Excellent News - Burglar and 2 handlers caught following spate of burglaries in Hillmorton
Rugby police are very pleased to make you aware that following reassurance patrols carried out in your area prior to Christmas as a result of a spate of burglaries in Hillmorton and around the Featherbed Lane area, an address was identified that the suspect went to following one particular burglary.
Police officers executed a warrant and arrested two handlers and the burglar.
The burglar received 2yrs and 5 months imprisonment at the Crown Court last week and admitted to burglary of nine dwellings in total.
The handlers are currently on bail.
Thankyou to all who participated in the house to house enquiries and to neighbourhood watch members for their continued observations. Well done.
