MESSAGE .................SW NHW RU Robbery at bakery on The Green, Bilton INC 258 of 30 January
Rugby police are keen to hear from anyone who may have information relating to a robbery which occurred at a bakers shop on The Green, Bilton at 1.30pm yesterday afternoon, 30 January.
At this time an offender described as a white male with blond moustache, aged 30-40 years with a medium build and wearing a baseball cap, blue jeans and a beige jacket entered the shop and asked for change.
When the assistant opened the till the offender pulled out a knife and demanded money. The till was then pulled from the counter and smashed. The cash drawer was stolen and the knife was left behind.
If you noticed anything suspicious in the area of the bakery or The Green yesterday afternoon that you believe may be connected to this incident please contact Rugby police quoting incident number 258 of 30 January. Please also remain alert, on the lookout for suspicious activity around your area and please report anything of concern to police. Thankyou.
