MESSAGE .................NHW RU Good news as 3 arrested following a burglary in Cedar Avenue, Ryton INC 243 of 18 February
Rugby police would like to make you aware that 3 males were arrested following a report of a burglary in progress, by the alert neighbour of a home in Cedar Avenue, Ryton at around 12.30pm yesterday afternoon, 18 February.
The neighbour noticed two males, one armed with a crowbar, breaking into a neighbouring home and another male circling the area in a navy blue car with blacked out windows.
Police attended the scene and found that the home had been burgled and a TV stolen.
A search of hte area was made and following further sightings by members of the public two offenders were arrested on foot and the third was arrested after being stopped in the blue car.
Rugby police would like to thank anyone who helped them track down the offenders and also the neighbour who alerted them to the incident. Well done to all concerned..
