Rugby Police are appealing for witnesses to a robbery at Coral Racing in Railway Terrace, Rugby that occurred at 8.00am this morning, Tuesday 25 March.
A white male aged around 20 years old wearing a grey woolly hat, black gloves and a white tracksuit top, and white Addidas tracksuit bottoms is reported to have entered the shop and demanded cash. He was carrying a flick knife.
A small amount of cash was stolen.
No-one was hurt during the incident.
The offender turned left out of the shop.
Police are checking CCTV images and appealing for any witnesses who may have been walking or driving past Coral Racing this morning at around 8am. It's possible the male may have been waiting in the vicinity for the shop to open and police are also asking witnesses to come forward who noticed anyone acting suspiciously in the area.
