Rugby police are keen to hear from anyone who may have information relating to the attempted theft of a Mitsubishi Shogun vehicle from a home in Daneswood Avenue, Binley Woods.
At just before 7.30am this morning, 20 March, the resident of the home in Daneswood Avenue disturbed two offenders who had reached through the letterbox and stolen the keys to the vehicle.
The offenders dropped the keys as they made off.
If you noticed anything suspicious in the area of Daneswood Avenue at around the time given that you believe may be connected to this incident please contact Rugby police quoting incident number 36 of 20 March.
Please also ensure that you store the keys to your home and your vehicles out of sight overnight or when they are not in use. Never leave keys in the lock or in the vicinity of the door. Thankyou.
