MESSAGE .................NHW RU Burglary in Belmont Road & theft from vehicle in Norton Leys, Rugby INC 464 of 9 March
We would like to make you aware of the following incidents which occurred in your area yesterday, 9 March.
Between 2 and 10.45am yesterday morning, offenders stole the side trim from a Peugeot 106 parked in Norton Leys, Rugby.
Sometime between 7 and 11pm last night offenders forced open a metal frames patio door at a home in Belmont Road, Rugby, and once inside the house stole a plasma television and remote control.
The offenders then used garden chairs to get them over the garden fence and made their escape over fields at the rear of the property.
If you noticed anything suspicious in either of these areas around the times given that you believe may be connected to either of these incidents please contact Rugby police quoting incident number 464 of 9 March.
Please can we also remind you to be alert and on the lookout for suspicious persons or activity around your own or neighbouring homes and to please report anything unusual or of concern to police. Thankyou.
