MESSAGE .................NHW RU Cash & cheques stolen in burglary at home in Hillmorton Road, Rugby INC 410 of 30 March
We would like to hear from anyone who may have information relating to a burglary which occurred at a home in Hillmorton Road between 12noon and 7.15pm yesterday, Sunday 30 March.
The resident of the house, between numbers 245 and 260, was washing her car when she became aware of a male in her front garden. When she cahllenged him he asked her if she wanted ot sponsor a child from abroad and walked off.
The resident then discovered that a bag containing cash and cheques had been stolen from inside the house.
The suspect is described as a white male, about 5ft 7in tall with a medium build. He had short dark hair and was wearing a dark jacket, light green T Shirt and dark trousers.
If you noticed this male in the area of Hillmorton Road yesterday afternoon or have other information that you believe may be connected to the incident please contact Rugby police quoting incident number 410 of 30 March. Thankyou.
