MESSAGE .................NHW RU Beware of black male intercepting post for your address from postmen in your area INC 87 of 29 April
We would like to make you aware that yesterday morning 29 April a black male, pretending to be the occupant of a home in Bilton Road, Rugby tried to intercept the postman delivering two parcels to the address. Both parcels contained mobile phones but fortunately the postman knew the occupant of the house and refused to hand over the parcels.
However, the same interception method was used to obtain two phones from the postman at another address on Bilton Road.
The offender is described as a black male, with a medium build. He is in his mid 30's with short cropped hair. A black 04 plate BMW, which may also be connected to this incident was seen in the area.
If you notice anyone answering this description acting suspiciously around your own or other houses in your area at the time the postman ususally delivers your mail please contact Rugby police quoting incident number 87 of 29 April. Thankyou.
