MESSAGE .................NHW RU Burglaries in David Road and Dunchurch Road, Rugby INC 307 of 16 April
We would like to make you awaore of the following incidents which occurred in your area yesterday, 16 April.
Sometime between 1.10 and 3.25pm offenders smashed the rear patio door to gain entry to a home in David Road, Rugby. Once inside they searched the house before making off with a 40in LCD TV, Nintendo games, an XBox, 2 phones and a rucksack.
At 3.40pm a male offender entered a home in Dunchurch Road via an insecure back door and stole a purse. The owner of the house disturbed the offender as he left and he stated that he was looking for a cat he had run over.
The offender is described as a white male in his mid 40's. He was tall, thin and was wearing sunglasses and a grey bomber jacket.
If you noticed anything suspicious in either of these areas around the times given or saw this offender in the vicinity please contact Rugby police quoting incident number 307 of 16 April. Thankyou.
