MESSAGE .................SCHW RU Damage at school in Cornwallis Rd and suspicious male near school in Hollowell Way, Rugby INC 86 of 21 May
Rugby police would like to make you aware of the following incidents which have occurred at schools in the Rugby area over recent days.
Sometime during the night of 20 into 21 May offenders caused damage to large music room window and a double glazed toilet window at a junior school in Cornwallis Road, Rugby. They also appear to have climbed across the roof of the school to access the inner courtyard.
A high level hall window has also been damaged, along with a sink in the toilets.
This is the latest incident of expensive damage at the school over a short period of time.
At just after 11am yesterday morning, 21 May, a resident of Hollowell Way, near to the infant and nursery school reported that a suspicious male appeard to be hanging around the school in a hedge.
The male is described as around 5ft 8in tall with a slim build. he was all dressed in grey and was drinking from a beer can.
Please can we ask you to remain alert, on the lookout for suspicious persons or activity on or around your premises and to please report anything of concern to police. Thankyou.
