MESSAGE .................RW RU Burglaries at barn on Newton Lane, Rugby & at home in South Road, Clifton on Dunsmore INC 250 of 29 June
We would like to make you aware of the following incidents which occurred in your area yesterday, 29 June.
Betweeb 1.55 and 2.40am offenders forced open the doors of a garage at a home in South Raod, Clifton, with a flat bladed instrument. Once inside they took ladders from the garage and used them to damage the burglar alarm on the house wall. The alarm activated which alerted neighbours but the offenders managed to escape.
Two prowlers were distrubed at around the same time at another house in South Road.
Also during the night of 28 into 29 June offenders removed the gate leading to a barn in Newton Lane, Rugby, from its hinges. Once inside they placed a ladder against a window to gain access to the barn.
The roller shutters were then opened from the inside and an Ifor Williams double axle trailer was stolen.
If you have information that you believe may be connected to any of these incidents or you think you may have seen or heard the offenders please contact Rugby police quoting incident number 250 of 29 June. Thankyou.
