MESSAGE .................RW RU Burglaries at farm in Broadwell & rural premises in Meadow Road, Rugby and Flecknoe INC 287 of 17 June
We would like to make you aware of the following incidents which have occurred at Rural Premises in the Rugby area over recent days.
Sometime during the night of 16 into 17 June offenders used bolt cutters to crop the bolts off the gates to an access road to a property on Meadow Road, Rugby. A dump truck was then moved in order for the offenders to steal a tractor and trailer, a ride on mower and a 3.5tonne flatbed trailer. The offenders then used a vehicle to ram three secure sheds at the premises.
Chainsaws, a generator, a brush cutter and many other power and hand tools were stolen from inside the sheds.
During the same night offenders entered a garage at a rural home in Flecknow via an insecure side door and stole a large quantity of Snap On tools.
Please can we remind to remain alert, on the lookout for suspicious persons, vehicles or activity on or around your own or neighbouring premises and to please report anything of concern to police. Thankyou.
