SW RU Subaru Imprezza used in burglary at Aldi store in Central Park Drive, Rugby INC 772 of 27 July

MESSAGE .................SW RU Subaru Imprezza used in burglary at Aldi store in Central Park Drive, Rugby INC 772 of 27 July
Rugby police are keen ot hear from anyone who noticed anything suspicious in the area of Aldi supermarket in Central Park Drive, Rugby at just before midnight last night, 27 July.

At this time offenders forced open the shutters at the store and got inside. They then made a failed attempt to get into a strong room before making off with a box of bottled drinks.

An attempt had also been made to jemmy open a window at the side of the premises.

The two male offenders used a dark coloured Subaru Imprezza with a partial registration number of WG to ram a police vehicle as they were leaving the scene.

The Imprezza then left the shopping centre and made off towards the M6 motorway.

If you saw or heard anything in the area of the Aldi store last night that you believe may be connected with this incident please contact Rugby police quoting incident number 772 of 27 July.

Please also remain alert, on the lookout for suspicious vehicles, persons or activity on or around your premises and please report anything of concern to police. Thankyou.
