MESSAGE .................SW RU Cash and cigarettes stolen in robbery at McColls, Overslade Lane, Rugby INC 633 of 27 August
Police were called following a robbery that occurred at McColls in Overslade Lane, Rugby at approximately 8.30pm on Wednesday evening, 27 August.
A male entered the store and threatened the cashier with a knife. The man stole a small amount of cash and around 30 packets of cigarettes. A second member of staff was also in the store at the time. No one was injured.
The offender is described as a white male aged between 20-24 years old and around 5ft 8 to 5ft 9 inches tall. He is of medium build and was wearing a white jacket with a logo across the center and blue stripes down the arms. His face was covered with a white striped scarf.
PC 690 Jacqueline McBrearty said "We would like to hear from anyone who saw someone acting suspiciously outside the shop just before or at the time of the Robbery.
