MESSAGE .................NHW RU Burglary at home in Farmborough Avenue, Rugby INC 467 of 2 September
Rugby police would like to hear from anyone who may have information relating to a burglary which occurred at a home in Farnborough Avenue, Rugby between 6.30am and 7.30pm yesterday, 2 September.
At some point between these times offenders climbed through a rear ground floor window at the house and once inside, they conducted a search of all rooms.
An X Box, 20 games, a camera and two mobile phones were stolen. The offenders then unlocked the rear door, using a key which was left in the lock and left the property.
If you noticed anything suspicious in the area of Farnborough Avenue, Rugby yesterday that you believe may be connected to this burglary please contact Rugby police quoting incident number 467 of 2 September.
Please ensure that you close and secure all of your ground floor windows overnight or when leaving your home unattended and remember to remove and hide any keys from window and door locks to make it harder for thieves to access your home.
Please also remain alert, on the lookout for suspicious persons, vehicles or activity around your own or neighbouring homes and please report anything of concern to police. Thankyou.
