MESSAGE .................NHW RU Burglaries at homes in Main Street and Pantolf Place, Newbold on Avon INC 344 of 15 December
We would like to make you aware of the following incidents which occurred in your area yeaterday, 15 December.
At 3pm yesterday afternoon the resident of a home in Main Street, newbold arrived home and disturbed a male leaving the rear door of the house. The offender told the resident that he was looking for directions to an address and that she had left her door open.
It was later discovered that the offender had entered the house via a flat roof and then into a bedroom window. The offender made a tidy search of the house and moved a laptop computer before being disturbed buy the return of the resident.
The offender is described as a white male in his mid 20's. he was about 5ft 10in tall and had a slim build.
Between 3 and 3.30pm an offender removed the deading from a double glazed rear window at a home in Pantolf Place, Newbold. He then lifted out the glass to get into the house. Once inside the offender made a tidy search before making off with two passports, cash and jewellery.
A neighbour saw the offender leaving the premises between these times and his description matches the description of the offender at the property in Main Street.
