MESSAGE .................NHW RU Elderly lady robbed outside Post Office, Ryton on Dunsmore INC 193 of 15 December
Rugby Police are keen to hear from anyone who may have information relating to a robbery which occurred outside Ryton on Dunsmore Post Office at 10.45am yesterday morning, 15 December.
At 10.45am an elderly lady left the Post Office after collecting a quantity of cash.
As she left two offenders approached the lady and dragged her handbag from her shoulder before making off.
The offenders are described as two white males, both in their 30's. One had spiky hair with blond streaks and was wearing a blue top and dark jeans.
The other had a scarf over his mouth and was wearing dark jeans. Both are described as dirty and they made off in a scruffy white van.
If you saw these offenders in the area at around this time or you have other information that may be of use to investigating officers please contact Rugby Police quoting incident number 193 of 15 December.
Please also remain alert, on the lookout for suspicious persons, vehicles or activity around your own or neighbouring homes or premises and please report anything of concern to police. Thankyou.
