MESSAGE .................RW RU Burglaries at farms in Barby Road, Barby & Calais Lane, Broadwell INC 260 of 1 March

We would like to make you aware of the following incident which occurred at farm in your area over recent days,

Sometime between 23 and 27 February offenders entered a farm house in Barby Road, Barby and stole items of jewellery and several gold sovereigns.

At just after 3am yesterday morning, 1 March, offenders bolt cropped the chain on the gate of a yard at a small holding in Calais Lane, Broadwell. They them made an attempt to steal a powered go-kart.

The offenders were then disturbed and made off empty handed.

it is believed that the offenders were using a white van of newish appearance. The van had a side door and is believed to be signwritten.

If you have information that you believe may be connected to these incidents please contact Rugby Police quoting incident number 260 of 1 March.

Please also remain alert, on the lookout for suspicious persons, vehicles or activity on or around your premises and please report anything of concern to police. Thankyou.
