Please can we make you aware of the following incidents which have occurred in your area over recent days.

During the night of 5 into 6 June offenders broke into the stable block at an engineering premises in Smeaton Lane, Stretton under Fosse and stole several thousands of pounds of horse tack and trailer.

Sometime between 6 and 8 June offenders cut the padlocks off the gate of a secure yard at a machinery business in Rugby Road, Harborough Magna and entered the premises.

Once inside the offenders stole a 16ft x 6ft twin axle tilt bed Idor Williams trailer and a 7ft x 3ft single axle high ramp Ifor Williams trailer.

Between 9.10 and 10.15am on 9 June offenders smashed the glass in the rear French door of a home in Rugby Road, Clifton on Dunsmore and then reached through and opened the door with a key that had been left in the lock.

Once inside the offenders made a very untidy search of all rooms before making off with items of jewellery, a 32in televison, a 22in television and a blue cricket holdall.

If you have information that you believe may be connected to any of these incidents please contact Rugby Police quoting incident number 114 of 8 June. Please also remain alert, on the lookout for suspicious persons, vehicles or activity on or around your own or neighbouring homes or premises and please report anything of concern to police.
