MESSAGE .................RW RU Incidents at rural premises in Ryton, Brinklow & Brandon INC 721 of 28 June
Please be aware of the following incidents which have occurred at rural businesses in your area over recent days.
At 4.09am on 24 June offenders broke into the Ryton Nursery on Leamington Road, Ryton which activated the intruder alarm.
The offenders stole tills, laptop computers and a red Bedford Rascal van from the premises before making off.
At just after 11.20pm on Sunday 28 June 4 males were disturbed as they attempted to force their way into a workshop at a farm premises in Brinklow. The offenders had also entered a farm truck parked in the yard.
The offenders made off in a white Ford Capri which was later found on fire in Cathiron Lane.
During the night of 29 into 30 June offenders broke hte locks off two field gates at a field off Main Street, Willey. The offenders also drove through a field of Barley, damaging the crop to access a second field where they stole a cattle crush.
If you have information that you believe may be connected to any of these incidents please contact Rugby Police quoting incident number 721 of 28 June. Please also remain alert, on the lookout for suspicious persons or activity on or around your premises and please report anything of concern to police. Thankyou.
