Please can we make you aware of the following incidents which have occurred in the western area of Rugby over recent days.

Ay 2.45am on 3 September the resident of a home in Turchill Road, Cawston awoke, went downstairs and disturbed a male at the rear patio doors. The offender, described as in his early teens, had used a wheelie bin to assist him to climb over a fence and into the garden.

Between 6pm and midnight on 4 September offenders entered a home in Dunchurch Road, Rugby via a rear window which activated the intruder alarm. The offenders made an untidy search of the house before making off with items of jewellery.

At 5.50am on 5 September the resident of a home in Spottiswood Close, Cawston was camping in his garden with his children when he awoke and saw a light flashing in the kitchen of the house.

The resident then entered the house and came face to face with a male in a balaclava. The offender, described as around 5ft tall and smelling of alcohol made off over the garden fence.

Between 10am on 5 and 4.30am on 6 September offenders forced open a panel on the rear door of a home in Overslade Lane, Rugby and stole a large quantity of valuable jewellery.
