Please can we make you aware of the following burglaries which ahve occurred in Newton over recent days.
Sometime during the evening of 6 October offenders entered the home of an elderly lady in Little London Road, Newton. The offenders made an untidy search of both bedrooms and stole a purse containing cash and items of jewellery.
During the night of 6 into 7 October offenders forced open the rear door of a home in Newton Lane, Newton, whilst the residents were asleep, and entered the house. The offenders then made a tidy search of drawers in the lounge but nothing appears to have been stolen.
