Please can we make you aware of the following incidents which have occurred in your area over recent days.

At just before 11am on 23 November a male called at the home of an elderly female in Barton Road, Rugby and stated that her drains were blocking others in the road. He then asked her to run her taps.

The male then asked for £1500 in cash as a deposit and offered to install a new toilet for £2000. He then called for a taxi to take the lady to the bank. The taxi was turned away by the lady.

The offender is described as withe, aged around 30 with a slim build, small mustache and fair hair tied up into a pony tail.

The offender wore a bobble hat, a grey coat and jeans.

At just before 5pm on the afternoon of 23 November offneders forced open the rear kitchen window of a home in Mullberry Road, Rugby and the entered the house.

Once inside, the offenders made an untidy search of the premises before stealing items of jewellery.
