Approx 3.30am on Wed 7th April two offenders wearing dark clothing were seen running from a garage in Weaver Drive towards Townsend Lane. The garage had been entered and many items stolen including some expensive and unique fishing tackle.

During the same night another garage in the area was damaged by offenders trying to force entry and two sheds were entered after removing the padlocks.

Please contact us if you have information regarding these incidents.

You can decrease your chances of becoming a victim of shed or garage burglary by fitting dead locks, an alarm, door defenders, removing or hiding valuable items, and visibly marking your property to make it less attractive to thieves.

Approx 2.30pm on Bank Holiday Easter Monday the 5th April 2010 a large white panel van with red lettering on the near side was seen making off from a diesel tank in Church Lawford after taking an unknown quantity of fuel in some form of containers.

A similar offence was also attempted in Kings Newnham recently.

I would like to ask you to report any incidents of this nature and where possible try to keep fuel more secure by locking access gates, locking the pump and ensuring there are no fuel containers nearby which could be used by offenders.

Please can we make you aware that at 1.25am yesterday morning, 5 April two offenders kicked in the front door of a home in Kareen Grove, Binley Woods, Coventry and then burst into the residents bedroom.

The residents were then threatened and the offenders demanded the keys to a Landrover vehicle parked outside. The intruder alarm was activated and the offenders made off.

Please can we make you aware that sometime between 11.45am and 3pm on 1 April offenders forced open the front door of a home in Sycamore Grive, Rugby and entered the house.

Once inside, the offenders stole a laptop computer, an IPod and a mobile phone.
