MESSAGE .................PW RU Robbery with knives at Royal Oak Public House, Brandon INC 666 of 24 June
We would like to make you aware that three males carrying knives who entered the Royal Oak public house on Station Road, Brandon as staff were cashing up at shortly before midnight last night, Sunday 24 June, demanded money and made off with the days takings.
The three, all white males and believed to be aged in their 20s, were all wearing dark coloured hoodies and jeans.
After taking the money the three made off through a side door into the car park where they stole a purple coloured Mini Cooper car. The car was later found burned out near to Tollbar Island, on the West Midlands Police area.
Although badly shocked, the members of staff were not physically injured in the robbery.
Please ensure that your premises are fully secured before beginning cashing up procedures, remain vigilent and be on the lookout for suspicious persons, vehicles or activity on or around your premises. Anything of concern should be reported to police immediately..
