MESSAGE .................RW RU Theft of off road racing buggies from rural premises in Cosford & Thurlaston, Rugby INC 212 of 22 April
Rugby police would like to make you aware of the following thefts of off road racing buggies from farms in the Rugby area over recent days.
Sometime before 11.30am on 21 April offenders kicked down the security door of a brick storage building at a farm in Cosford and stole two off road buggies, made by Motor Sport, and a quantity of petrol.
Sometime during the night of 21 into 22 April offenders forced open the pedestrial access door to a garage at a rural home in Biggin Hall Lane, Thurlaston and then opened the main door.
They then stole a single axle trailer loadedwith a single seat Suzuki engined Auto grass racing buggy.
If you own one of these buggies please pay particular attention to its security in light of these recent thefts. Please also remain alert, on the lookout for suspicious persons, vehicles or activity around your premises and please report anything of concern to police. Thankyou.
