Sometime during last night 12 into 13 May offenders entered a home in Cymbaline Way, Bilton vian an insecure ground floor window. Once inside a search of the house was made before the offenders made off with a 37inch TV, laptop computer, a camera, and house and car keys.
The car keys belonged to a Nissan Micra which was then stolen from the drive.
If you have information that you believe may be connected to this incident please contact Rugby police quoting incident number 291 of 12 May.
A reminder from Rugby Police: While we all like to enjoy the good weather, there are others who will look to take advantage of it in a way that is anything but enjoyable. If the weather is good people tend to leave windows and doors open and become very relaxed in their attitudes to security. Thieves are well aware of this and there has been an increase of burglaries where they have used open windows and doors to gain entry to houses. Please be extra vigilant and ensure that windows and doors are at least shut and preferably locked when you are not in that part of the house. Enjoy the good weather but lets not make it easy for those who look to take advantage. Thankyou.
