MESSAGE .................NHW RU Blue Ford Escort involved in burglary at home in Alwyn Road, Rugby INC 307 of 6 November
Rugby police are keen to hear from anyone who may have noticed anything or anyone suspicious in the area pf Alwyn Road between 12.30 and 1pm yesterday afternoon, 6 November.
At around this time an offender walked down the side of a home in Alwyn Road and then used bodily forced to force open a side access door.
Once inside the house he stole a 36in television from the lounge and then placed it outside. The offender the cycled off and returned about 20 minutes later in a blue R registration Ford Escort vehicle vehicle, loaded the TV into the car and made off in the direction of Bilton.
The offender is described as a white male with short mousy/ brownish hair and with gold glasses on the top of his head. He was of average height and build and wore dark clothing and black gloves.
If you saw this male or his vehicle in the area of Alwyn Road or have any other information that you believe may be connected to this incident please contact Rugby police quoting incident number 307 of 6 November. Thankyou.
