Police in Rugby are appealing for witnesses following a robbery at Coral Bookmakers in Kingsway, yesterday evening at around 9.30pm (Thursday 7 November).

Three white males, all believed to be aged between 18 and 22 years, entered the bookmakers.

It is not believed any of the offenders were armed but they threatened staff, demanding money.

No one was injured during the incident.

The three men then left on foot, in the direction of Dunchurch Road but it is believed they then continued down St Georges Avenue, running down Kingsley Avenue which is opposite the bookmakers.

No one was injured during the robbery, although staff were badly shaken from their experience.

The three males, escaped with a quantity of cash.

All three men were white and wearing hooded tops and scarves.

One of the offenders was wearing a brown hat while another was shorter than the others and had ginger hair.

If you saw or heard anything suspicious in the area of the Bookmakers or in Kingsway yesterday evening that you believe may be connected to this incident please contact Rugby Police quoting incident number 615 of 6 November.

Please also remain alert, on the lookout for suspicious activity on or around your premises and please report anything of concern to police. Thankyou.
